What is a Luke 14 Party?
"But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed."
Inspired by the above verses, Luke 14 Ministries annually hosts a unique banquet where the guests of honor are those in and around our community with disabilities. Guests enjoy themed exhibits and fun activities before sitting down to a delicious feast!
Our volunteers work hard to bring our theme to life every year! We’ve had: professional square dancers and cloggers (for entertainment and participation!), face painting, puppetry (provided by a 32 year old with autism!), a full petting zoo, an Elvis appearance, The Sunshine Ambassadors (a group of dancers with special needs), county fair booths, flowers to take home, bird houses to paint, antique tractors to climb on, hayrides, hamburgers and hot dogs hot off the grill, clowns and more! It is truly something everyone should be a part of… as a guest or volunteer!
Just describing it hardly does it justice! If you’re local, come join us! And if you’re interested in hosting a Luke 14 Party in your community, please contact us! We’d love to support you!
