The Orphanage

Jesus Kids Home for the Disabled was established in 2010 after God called the founder, Pastor Ololade Adamolekun, to begin ministering to children with disabilities. The home is located in Ibadan, Nigeria in the midst of culture that largely views people with disabilities as cursed. Jesus Kids currently houses around 45 children, providing them with physical, emotional, and spiritual nourishment. Their disabilities include cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism, and severe post-traumatic stress disorder, as many have undergone debilitating abuse and neglect.

Because the community at large does not value this population, acquiring financial support for caregiver salaries, therapy services, schooling, hospital visits, and food is a constant challenge. Still, God has been faithful in caring and providing for these children.
